How to Play Spider Solitaire 1 Suit

Setup

Spider Solitaire 1 Suit uses two decks, totaling 104 cards. Here’s how to set up the game:

• Deal 54 cards into 10 tableau piles: the first four piles receive 6 cards each, and the remaining six piles get 5 cards each.
• The top card of each pile is dealt face up, while the other cards are dealt face down.
• The remaining 50 cards form the stock pile.

Objective

The goal of Spider Solitaire (1 Suit) is to arrange all the cards in descending sequences from King to Ace within the tableau, and then move these completed sequences to the foundations. The game is won when all foundations are completed.

Rules

• The top cards of the tableau piles are available to play. When a top card is moved, the card underneath is turned face up and becomes available to play.
• Within the tableau, you can build sequences of cards in descending order from King to Ace. In this variation, all cards are of the same suit, so suits do not matter in this context.
• Once you complete a sequence from King to Ace, move it to one of the empty foundations.
• Any single card or a valid sequence of cards can be placed on an empty tableau pile.
• When no more moves are available, click on the stock to deal one card to each tableau pile. You can use the stock up to 5 times.
• There is no stock re-deal.
