Scorpion Solitaire

Scorpion Solitaire is a variation of the classic Solitaire game, played similarly to Spider Solitaire. The goal is to build four sequences within the tableau in the same suit, from King to Ace.

How to Play Scorpion Solitaire

Rules

• Tableau piles are built down in the same suit(e.g., a 9♠ on a 10♠).
• You are allowed to move any card along with all the cards covering it.
• Only King or sequences of cards starting with a King can be placed in an empty tableau spot.
• You can deal three cards from the stock pile, 1 card to each tableau pile starting from the left.
• When a full sequence(King to Ace) is built within the tableau, it is moved to one of the free foundation slots.

Objective

The objective of Scorpion Solitaire is to move all cards to foundation piles by building full sequences(King to Ace) within the tableau.

Setup

Scorpion Solitaire is played with a standard deck of cards and is set up as follows:

• There are 7 tableau piles.
• Each tableau pile is dealt 7 cards. The first 3 cards in each of the first four tableau piles are dealt face down, and the remaining cards are dealt face up.
• The remaining cards are placed in the stock pile.

Variations

• Wasp Solitaire - same as Scorpion but any card can be placed on an empty tableau slot. Slightly easier than Scorpion.
• Easy Scorpion Solitaire - simpler version with only 3 columns having hidden cards.
