Klondike Solitaire (Turn One)

Klondike Solitaire Turn 1 is a variation of the classic Klondike Solitaire game. In this version, you draw only one card at a time from the stock pile.

How to Play Klondike Solitaire Turn 1

Setup

Klondike Solitaire Turn 1 uses a standard 52-card deck. The game setup is as follows:

• 28 cards are dealt into 7 tableau piles, with the first pile having 1 card, the second pile having 2 cards, and so on up to the seventh pile having 7 cards. The top card of each pile is dealt face up.
• There are 4 foundation piles, initially empty. Start each foundation pile with an Ace and build it up to King in the same suit.
• Place the remaining cards face down to form the stock pile.
• Waste pile is initially empty and can be filled by drawing cards from the stock pile.

Objective

The objective remains the same as in traditional Klondike Solitaire: build up the foundations from Ace to King in each suit.

Rules

• You can play the top cards of the tableau piles and the waste pile.
• Within tableau you may build card sequences in descending order and alternating colors (e.g., a red 9 on a black 10).
• Only Kings or sequences of cards starting with a King can be placed in empty tableau piles.
• When out of available moves, draw cards from the stock pile one at a time and place them into the waste pile. Cards in the waste pile are available for play. You can replenish the stock pile by moving all cards from the waste pile back to it. There’s no limit to how often you can refresh the stock pile.
• You win the game when all foundation piles are built up from Ace to King in each suit.
