Objective
The goal of Tri Peaks Solitaire is to clear all the cards from the tableau by moving them to the foundation. You win the game when all cards from the tableau have been removed, regardless of how many cards are left in the stock.
Setup
- The game uses a single standard 52-card deck.
- 28 cards are dealt face up into three overlapping pyramids, forming the tableau.
- The remaining cards form the stock pile, which is placed face down.
- There is only one foundation pile, empty at the beginning.
Rules
Tri Peaks Solitaire rules are identical to Golf Solitaire rules, but Ace can be played on a King and vice versa:
- Card wrapping is allowed - you can place an Ace on a King or a King on an Ace.
- Cards can be moved to the foundation if they are one rank higher or lower than the top foundation card, regardless of suit.
- You can only move exposed cards (those not covered by any others).
- Cards cannot be moved to or within the tableau; tableau cards can only be moved to the foundation.
- If no moves are possible, draw a card from the stock pile and place it on the foundation.
