At the start of the game, 55 cards are dealt face up to the tableau in the form of a pyramid:
- 1st tableau pile 1 card
- 2nd tableau pile 3 cards
- 3rd tableau pile 5 cards
- 4th tableau pile 7 cards
- 5th tableau pile 9 cards
- 6th tableau pile 10 cards
- 7th tableau pile 8 cards
- 8th tableau pile 6 cards
- 9th tableau pile 4 cards
- 10th tableau pile 2 cards
-
There are 8 foundation piles.
-
The remaining cards form the stock pile, which is placed face down.
Rules
Rules are very similar to Forty Thieves rules with some differences (highlighted):
- Tableau piles are built down in suit by alternating color.
- One card or a sequence of cards in the correct order can be moved as a group.
- Only King can be placed in an empty tableau spot.
- Foundations are built up by suit, starting from Ace and ending with King.
- One card is dealt at a time from the stock to the waste pile.
- You can play the top card from the waste.
- The stock can only be redealt once.
