Objective
The goal in Spider Solitaire is to clear the tableau by building eight full sequences in descending order (King to Ace) in the same suit. Completed sequences are removed from the tableau. Once all sequences are completed and removed, you win.
Setup
Spider Solitaire uses two standard 52-card packs.
At the start:
- Deal 10 tableau piles: the first 4 get 6 cards each, and the last 6 get 5 cards each. Only the top card in each pile is face-up.
- The remaining cards form the stock pile, ready to be dealt later.
Rules
- You build tableau piles in descending order and in the same suit - for example, placing a 9♠ on a 10♠.
- The top card of any pile may be moved by itself or along with face-up cards covering it, as long as they form a proper descending sequence in the same suit.
- When sequence is complete(from King to Ace) it is removed from tableau to an empty foundatino pile.
- Empty tableau spaces can be filled with any single card or a valid sequence.
- When no moves remain, deal 10 new cards from the stock - one onto each tableau pile.
- There’s no stock re-deal.
