Objective
The aim of Eight Off Solitaire is to transfer all cards to the four foundation piles, arranging each pile in ascending order by suit from Ace to King.
Setup
- 48 cards are dealt face up into 8 tableau piles, with 6 cards in each pile.
- The remaining 4 cards are dealt to the first four free cells, 1 card each.
- There are 8 free cells located at the top left of the screen. Each cell can hold one card and is used for temporarily storing cards.
- There are 4 foundation cells located to the right of the tableau. The goal is to build these foundations up in suit from Ace to King.
Rules
- Tableau piles are built down in the same suit (e.g., a 9♠ on a 10♠).
- One card or a sequence of cards in the correct order can be moved as a group.
- Empty tableau spaces can be filled with a King.
- You can temporarily move cards to free cells to unlock more cards. Each free cell can hold at most one card.
- Cards in the free cells can be moved to the foundation piles or back to the tableau piles.
- Foundations are built up in the same suit from Ace to King.
