Objective
The goal of Algerian Solitaire is to move all the cards to the foundations, building Ace foundations up in suit and King foundations down in suit.
Setup
- Six cards are dealt face-up to each of the six reserve piles.
- Each tableau pile is dealt 1 card face-up. Then, an additional card is dealt to the first four tableau piles.
- The rest of the cards form the stock pile.
- There are 8 foundation piles, divided into two groups of 4. The first four foundations are built up from Ace to King, while the other four are built down from King to Ace.
Rules
- Build the Ace foundations up in the same suit from Ace to King.
- Build the King foundations down in the same suit from King to Ace.
- Cards in the tableau can be built up or down in suit(for example 4♣ can be placed on 5♣ or 3♣).
- You can only move one card at a time.
- Card wrapping is allowed, so you can place a King on an Ace or vice versa.
- Cards in reserve piles can be played to tableau or foundation.
- If no moves are possible, click the stock to deal 2 cards into each reserve pile. When only 8 cards remain, 1 card is dealt to each tableau pile.
- Empty reserve piles can’t be filled.
- There is no stock redeal.
